If an application is made relating to an estate that is involved in a court action where no administrator or executor has been appointed and there is no family member/heir, the Public Guardian and Trustee (PGT) may be served with notice of the application under Estate Administration Act* s. 7 or 41 *The PGT should only be served if the death occurred prior to March 31, 2014.
