The PGT may administer an estate when the PGT is named executor in a will of a deceased person. The role of the executor is to administer the estate under the terms of a will. The PGT can be appointed by the court to act as curator for a missing person. The role of curator is to manage the missing person’s property until they are located or until the funds are paid into court for safekeeping.
The PGT may act as trustee of a personal trust created by a will, trust agreement, or court order if options to appoint a family member or trust company as trustee are not appropriate. As trustee, the PGT invests and administers the trust, and responds to requests for expenditures.
